Appeal to locate man missing from Minto

Police have re-issued their call for public assistance to find a man missing from the Minto area.

Sathyendra Subbanna, 62, was reported missing to Campbelltown Police on Thursday, January 13 after he failed to return to work following having time off.

Initial police inquiries found he was last seen leaving a home on Cochrane Street, Minto on Wednesday, December 15.

Police then discovered footage of Mr Subbanna leaving a hotel on Bong Bong Street, Kiama, about 9am Tuesday, January 18.

Police say they hold serious concerns for Mr Subbanna's welfare.

They have now issued a geo-targetting message to people in the Kiama and Jervis Bay areas. Residents are advised the message will come from +61444444444 and it is not a scam.

Mr Subbanna is described as being of Indian Sub-Contential appearance, about 165 centimetres tall, of medium build, with short grey hair and a grey/white moustache.

He was last seen wearing a black button-up shirt, black jacket, long black pants, black and white shoes and a black hat, while carrying a grey/white backpack with a yellow smiley face.

Mr Subbanna is known to frequent the Campbelltown area and areas of the South Coast including Kiama and Jervis Bay.
