Local families are invited to grab their picnic chairs and head out to the fun and free event on January 26.
Earlier in the day the most community-minded residents of Campbelltown will be celebrated in a civic ceremony at Greg Percival Community Centre in Ingleburn, where the citizen of the year will be crowned. The ceremony kicks off at 9am.
New citizens will receive their citizenship certificates following the ceremony.
Campbelltown Council general manager Lindy Deitz encouraged everyone to join in the patriotic spirit this month.
"Australia Day is a time for all of us to reflect on and celebrate the many different facets that make up our diverse and vibrant community here in Campbelltown," she said.
"Our 2022 Australia Day celebrations promise to be a fantastic family event so I encourage everyone to come down and enjoy the live music, delicious food and entertainment."
Anyone interested in hosting a stall at the event can register their interest now.
The event is assisted by the Australian Government through the National Australia Day Council.
