A sixth child has died following the tragedy at Hillcrest Primary School on Thursday.
The child has been named as 11-year-old Chace Harrison.
Tasmania Police commissioner Darren Hine announced on Sunday the boy had died at the Royal Hobart Hospital.
His death is in addition to Addison Stewart, 11, Zane Mellor, 12, Jye Sheehan, 12, Jalailah Jayne-Maree Jones, 12, and Peter Dodt, 12 who lost their lives when a significant local wind event reportedly caused a jumping castle and several inflatable "zorb" balls to lift into the air.
The Devonport community continues to pay its respects placing teddy bears, flowers, notes and home made tributes bearing the children's names at the school.
A tribute of the other five children who died in the tragedy.
Tasmania Police Commissioner Darren Hine said on Friday investigations into the cause of the tragedy involving a jumping castle and zorb balls were ongoing.
"Police are continuing to investigate the matter alongside WorkSafe Tasmania, and we are preparing a report for the Coroner," he said.
A GoFundMe page for the families has reached more than $1.2 million and a public fund has been established to aid the families.
