One of the positives to come from our love/hate relationship with celebrities is the fabulous haircuts and styles that provide so much inspiration. From emulating the Farrah Fawcett flick in the 1970s to Jennifer Aniston's 'The Rachel' in the 1990s, there never seems to be any shortage of ideas - and this summer is no exception.
Lucia Caldarelli, owner of Les Couleurs Hair and Makeup, shares her insights into the famous follicles we'll be emulating this season.
Taylor Swift
Tay Tay's face-framing haircut reflects the 1990s influence that's infiltrating all kinds of style choices right now. To achieve this look at home, Lucia recommends reaching for a styling foam and finish with a texture spray.
Zendaya
Star of the soon to be released Spider-Man 3, the voluminous natural curls Zendaya sports in the movie are reminiscent of a wider trend that's born out of months spent in lockdown. Lucia refers to them as COVID hairstyles, which essentially means a more natural 'do which requires less maintenance.
A hairstyle that always looks best on the second day, Lucia says you can best achieve this look with a paddle brush and blow dryer - if you're blessed with naturally curly locks, use a diffuser so you don't end up with a frizzy mess.
Miley Cyrus
Not everyone can sport a 1970s shag-inspired layered haircut, but Miley has the face (and the swagger) to pull it off. Lucia recommends using styling foam to help rock this style.
Bella and Gigi Hadid
These model sisters are known for treating their hair to beautiful shades, Bella opting for deep chocolate brown, and Gigi swapping from warm shades of blonde and caramel, to spicy copper tones at this year's Met Gala. Lucia says these rich tones are here to stay this summer and suggests using a spritz of shine spray to help highlight your beautiful new look.
