Dylan Alcott and Curtis McGrath once again experienced the ultimate Paralympic success to headline Australia's penultimate day in Tokyo.
Australia will head into Sunday sitting eighth in the medal tally, with 20 gold - just two behind its Rio haul.
Wheelchair tennis gun Alcott notched up his fourth career gold medal - and third on the tennis court after first medalling as a teenager in wheelchair basketball - in Saturday's quad singles, then declared Tokyo would be his fourth and final Paralympics.
"I'm not coming back to the Paralympics ever again and I love it so much, it means so much to me," Alcott told the Seven Network after the medal ceremony.
"When I was 17 I got to go with the Rollers and we won gold and it was life-changing but Paralympic sport in general, it saved my life."
Saturday's 7-6 (7-2) 6-1 victory over Sam Schroder keeps Alcott's "golden slam" dream in 2021 alive.
Canoe sprint superstar McGrath stormed home in the VL3 200m for his second gold medal in Tokyo.
He had previously won the men's kayak single 200m KL2 title, successfully defending his title from Rio.
"The initial goal was to come here and stand on top of the podium twice ... I'm very happy with the double gold," he told the Seven Network.
"This last one here is really special."
The 33-year-old flagged his intentions to go around again in Paris but said he would first take a year off.
Swimmer Ellie Cole will relish a "fairytale ending" to her Paralympics career after being named Australia's flagbearer for the Tokyo closing ceremony.
The 29-year-old became Australia's most decorated female Paralympian in Tokyo when she won a silver and bronze medal at her fourth and final Games to take her career haul to 17 medals - one more than former swimmer Priya Cooper.
Earlier on Saturday, James Turner claimed silver in the T36 100m, but lamented being distracted by another runner moving at the start of the race - which cost him his chance at a second gold medal in Tokyo.
After his poor start Turner powered through the field to land a silver behind China's Deng Peicheng in a time of 11.85.
On Saturday night, Deon Kenzie landed bronze in the men's T38 1500m, while Nicholas Hum won bronze in the men's long jump T20.
Janine Watson later won Australia's first Paralympic taekwondo medal, claiming bronze in the women's K44 +58kg.
Tokyo is taekwondo's debut at the Paralympics and Watson beat Ukraine's Yuliya Lypetska 63-0 in a bronze medal match.
Meanwhile, the Rollers finished a disappointing campaign on a high, beating Turkey 74-58 in their fifth-place play-off, with Tristan Knowles sinking 31 points.
