The tenth day of the Olympics has been stellar for this humble country at the bottom of the world.

Superstar swimmer Emma Keon won her seventh gold medal at this games, becoming the equal most successful female Olympic athlete and most successful Australian athlete of all time.

Her latest win was in the 4x100m medley relay alongside Kaylee McKeown, Chelsea Hodges and Cate Campbell.

Australia is also entering the final day of equestrian eventing in the silver medal position.

And the Kookaburra men's win against the Netherlands has catapulted them into the semi-finals.

Back home in Australia, New South Wales reported 239 COVID-19 cases from Saturday, with at least 35 infectious in the community.

Despite the high numbers in NSW, the ACT government has cooled on their regional bubble plans as they desperately try to address low vaccination rates among aged care staff.
