Monsters, teen geniuses and kid-friendly scares - all that and more is coming to Cranston Academy: Monster Zone.
Thanks to our friends at Rialto Distribution, Australian Community Media has 14 family passes to give away to the animated film, which is released on June 24.
Cranston Academy: Monster Zone follows 15-year-old genius Danny, who is bullied for his intelligence and struggles to fit in at school.
Danny is always coming up with crazy inventions, and is unexpectedly offered a scholarship to Cranston Academy.
The secret, prestigious boarding school is for fellow geniuses, and Danny views it as a place where his intelligence will be recognised and he will finally have a chance to fit in.
However, a school full of geniuses can make things quite competitive, and getting a 99 per cent result is considered a fail.
In his quest to prove his intelligence among his peers, Danny inadvertently opens a portal to another dimension and unleashes a slew of monsters on the school.
Beasties include giant flying eyeballs, two-headed dogs and even a slimy pink tentacle.
Together with his roommate Liz and a half-moth, half-man professor nicknamed Mothman, Danny must overcome the demons of the fifth dimension and also those that lurk inside him in order to save the school.
The film features the vocal talents of Jamie Bell (Billy Elliott) and Aussie Ruby Rose (Pitch Perfect 2).
Australian Community Media has 15 in-season family passes (that's four tickets) to give away to Cranston Academy: Monster Zone.
