Do you have luxurious facial hair and a love for the amber liquid?
Picton's George IV Inn has an event for you.
The historic pub is holding a special fun Beards and Beers event on Saturday, May 15.
Licensee Craig Higgins said the hairy event would be a great chance for locals to have a bit of fun.
"Basically it's a celebration of all things beard and beer," he said.
"Here at the George we've got about 25 different craft beers on tap, small breweries from around NSW and Canberra.
"This day is showcasing what we have to offer in the way of beers.
"We've also teamed up with another local business which does beard products: Muscle Beard Men's Grooming.
"We'll rep their products and let people know what they're all about."
The day will also include a fabulous beard judging contest.
Mr Higgins said registrations would be taken on the day and encouraged facial hair aficionados from across the region to pop down and put their chins on the line.
"The guys from Picton Pale Ale, who run a brewery in Campbelltown, will be judges in the beard contest," he said.
"They'll also chat a little bit about the beer, and why it's named Picton Pale Ale. Their local brewer, Justin, is from Picton.
"We'll judge the contest on which beard looks the best, there will probably be a few categories like best woolly beard for example."
Mr Higgins said the Beards and Beers event would be a great chance to get back to pre-Covid days out.
"Everyone should come along and give it a try," he said.
"At the end of the day, it's all about having a bit of a laugh and not taking it over the top or being too serious.
"Covid restrictions are easing and dancing is allowed again. We'll have music from the afternoon through to 11pm in the night.
"It will just be a good, wholesome day to have a few beers and enjoy a good time.
"We want everyone to get back to a sense of normality."
