A serving police officer will appear at Campbelltown Local Court today after he was charged with alleged misconduct.
An investigation was launched in March this year following reports of alleged domestic-violence-related incidents.
A 32-year-old senior constable, attached to a command in Sydney's south-west, was then arrested on Wednesday, August 5 following inquiries.
He has been charged with three counts of common assault, use of a carriage service to menace/harass/offend and stalk/intimidate with intent to cause fear of physical harm.
The officer was granted conditional bail to appear before Campbelltown Local Court today (Tuesday, August 11).
The senior constable is currently on leave without pay.
