A Leumeah man has been charged following an investigation into a shooting in Rosemeadow last year.
On Saturday, May 25 2019 at 8.50pm a man presented to Campbelltown Hospital with a gunshot wound to his right shoulder.
Campbelltown police area command detectives established Strike Force Veda to investigate the incident.
Officers identified that the incident took place at Malcolm Way, Rosemeadow following extensive inquiries.
Strike Force Vedas detectives arrested a 25-year-old man at a unit on O'Sullivan Rd, Leumeah at 9.45am yesterday (Thursday, June 25).
He was taken to Campbelltown Police Station and charged with shooting someone with the intent to murder and discharging a firearm with the intent to cause grievous bodily harm.
The man was refused bail and appeared at Campbelltown Local Court yesterday (Thursday, June 25) where he was formally refused bail to reappear at the same court on today (Wednesday, August 26).
Investigations are continuing.
