Crowd enjoys All-American Day car show at Macarthur Square | photos

The rainy weather didn't stop thousands of people from checking out a host of classic cars at Macarthur Square on Sunday.

The 38th Annual All-American Day car show saw more than 400 classic American cars on display in the shopping centre's red car park, near Coles.

Vintage car owners from across NSW showcased their prized vehicles at the shopping centre with all proceeds being donated to the Children's Hospital at Westmead.

The cars included hot rods, cruisers, muscle cars, convertibles, a hearse and many more.

Kids could also get their faces painted and have a go on the jumping castle.

Mustung Owners Club Australia, NSW president David Livian said he was pleased to return to the shopping centre following the success of last year's event.
