The McClymonts have spent their careers turning stories into songs and now they want to share those stories with Macarthur locals.

The award-winning country music trio will bring their show 'One Acoustic Night' to the Bargo Sports Club on Saturday, December 7.

The local show will be the girl's the last stop for this year's tour.

Mollie McClymont said she was looking forward to performing in Macarthur again.

"The Macarthur audience just rocks - it's just like a real country crowd," she said.

"They sing-a-long with us and get really involved.

"It's going to be a little bittersweet to end the tour but we will perform the show again in Tamworth next year."

The show will coincide with the sports club's major fund-raising event, 'Caring for Our Farmers'.

The club hopes to raise a large amount of money which will be used to purchase water for drought-stricken farmers.

Mollie said country music was a great way to celebrate and tell stories about country life.

"We will be telling a few stories on the night - sometimes Brooke goes off on a bit of a tangent which is great because you never know what you're going to get with her," she said.

"It's what makes these shows really special."

The acoustic format will shine a spotlight on Mollie, Brooke, and Sam McClymont's stunning sibling harmonies.

The show will also highlight their award-winning songwriting skills when they perform their number one hits such as House, Wrapped Up Good, and Forever Begins Tonight.

Mollie said she had loved performing an acoustic show.

"You can hide behind a big band so this makes us a bit more exposed," she said.

"It's one of my favourite shows that we have ever done."

The McClymonts have established themselves as one of Australia's top country music acts with twenty-two chart-topping singles and 13 Golden Guitar Awards.
