What's better than a free schnitzel?

How about 100 free schnitzels?

One lucky diner will win 100 of the delicious bread-crumbed chicken delights at The Bavarian Macarthur next year - and all they need to do is spend $20 in store.

The popular German eatery, owned by Rockpool Dining Group, is running a special promotion across its 34 Australian stores to give away 3400 chicken schnitzels in 2020 - 100 for one lucky winner at each location.

Rockpool's culinary director Don Lama said the giveaway was a very exciting opportunity for schnitzel-lovers.

"We are known for our famous schnitzels and in honour of the giving festive season, we've decided what better way to treat a customer than to gift 100 schnitzels to a lucky diner at each restaurant," he said.

"The best bit is, it's so easy to enter - simply spend $20 at an The Bavarian or Munich Brauhaus in Australia and your name goes in the draw."

Mr Lama said there were eight schnitzels on the Bavarian menu, each weighing 340 grams.

"With eight options to choose from, there is a schnitzel on the menu for everyone," he said.

"While we suggest throwing a giant schnitzel party for the winner's family and friends, the 100 schnitzels applies to all schnitzels on the menu (excluding the Schnitzelmeister challenge), giving the winner the chance to taste every delicious schnitzel on the menu.

"In addition, we change our loaded schnitzels seasonally, so we would suggest spreading out the schnitzel intake to allow each of the winners the chance to always taste something new throughout the year."

Diners have until Monday, December 30 to go into the draw to be a winner. Winners will be announced on January 17.
