Get the running shoes ready because entries are now open for the annual Marsdens Law Group Fisher's Ghost Fun Run on Sunday, November 10.

The popular Fun Run will be held on the final day of the Festival of Fisher's Ghost and caters to all ages and abilities ensuring there is a large field of competitive and social participants each year.

Marsdens Law Group have been sponsors of the Fun Run since 2011. Marketing manager Allison James said it was a great opportunity to get out of the office and get involved with the local community.

"Many of our staff members are always active keeping fit, so we enjoy the challenge of the Fishers Ghost Fun Run as this is an event where our staff and their families can join in and participate," Ms James said.

Marsdens Law Group have been providing legal services to the Macarthur community for 50 years and their expert team can assist with any legal inquiries.

They have offices at Campbelltown, Camden and Oran Park as well as Liverpool and Sydney. "We believe it is important to give back to the community and the firm has been built on this philosophy," Ms James said.

"We support many local organisations and charities such as Lifeline Macarthur, Kids of Macarthur, Youth Solutions, Mater Dei, the local Chamber of Commerce and local sporting groups, just to name a few."

Participants can choose either the 5km or 10km course which covers the scenic grounds of Western Sydney University's Campbelltown campus.

"Whether you're looking for a bit of competition or wanting a casual run or walk with some friends, the Fisher's Ghost Fun Run is always a popular community event," Mayor George Brticevic said.

The run starts at 8am and includes age categories. The 5km team category is for primary school, high school, corporate, fitness and open teams while the 10km team category is for corporate, fitness and open teams. Walkers are welcome in all events.

The entry fee is $35 for adults and $25 for children under 16 years. For registrations prior to race day, a family ticket for two adults and two children is available for $95.

Entries on the day will be $45 for adults and $35 for children and will be registered from 6.30am near the start line. Race bibs will not be issued after 7.45am. For details go to fishersghost.com.au.
