Camden baker's cupcakes fly out the door

"It's been four weeks and we have not made our official closing time yet!"

Rhiannon Bentley never expected to sell out every day when she opened her cupcake shop in Camden.

Ms Bentley said she was making scores of fresh cupcakes each day and was shocked to see them sell out so fast.

"We are selling cupcakes in the thousands," the Werombi resident said.

"We bake a little more each day and they just seem to sell out even faster."

Ms Bentley said some of her customers had now become regulars.

"We have people that come in just for a coffee in the morning and regular cupcakes buyers as well," she said.

"A few of the local businesses come in and buy a box for their office too.

"We have people travelling from up to an hour away just to try them.

"On weekends we have lines that go outside the arcade - especially on a Sunday."

Ms Bentley said she was now changing up the flavours each week.

"We will have something different every week but vanilla passionfruit will stay," she said.

"It's our most popular flavour."

Ms Bentley said she was grateful to all of her customers.

"I am still pinching myself." she said.

"I am excited for the future because there is plenty of room to grow.

"I'd like to say a big thank you to everyone who has supported my dream."

Sweet Treats by Rhi is open from 8am to 4.30pm from Wednesday to Sunday.
