Hot Wheels confirmed for Australian Motorcycle Festival in Wollongong

It has been confirmed a father and son Hot Wheels stunt duo will be part of the Australian Motorcycle Festival in Wollongong across November 9 and 10.

Matt Mingay and his 12-year-old son Maddox - also known as "Madz" - will perform tricks on a custom Harley-Davidson 1200 Nightster and a custom 150cc YCF.

They'll then swap two wheels for four, and go off-road around a purpose built supercross track withing WIN Stadium.

"I can't wait to beat dad in my Hot Wheels buggy in front of so many people," Maddox said.

Formerly known as the Sydney Motorcycle Show, the Australian Motorcycle Festival moved to the Illawarra to provide greater interaction for visitors with over 20,000sqm of outdoor space in Lang Park.

The festival will showcase the latest motorcycles, scooters, ATV's UTV's, electric bikes, trikes and jet-ski's.

It coincides with Round 3 of the 2019 Australian Supercross Championship at WIN Stadium, where legendary motocross rider Robbie Maddison will be seen.
