Macarthur firefighters were kept on their toes following a wild night of fires across the region.
Fire and Rescue NSW (FRNSW) received a number of calls, including three incidents in the space of three hours in Bow Bowing and Claymore.
A FRNSW spokeswoman said three fire crews were called to a car fire on Bouddi Street, Bow Bowing about 7.50pm on Thursday night.
The spokeswoman said it took firies more than 40 minutes to extinguish the blaze but the car was completely destroyed.
Investigations continue into the cause of the blaze.
Firefighters were then called to Claymore's Heyson Way about 10.35pm following reports of a rubbish fire.
That blaze was quickly extinguished.
FRNSW crews were also called to a rubbish fire between two houses on Proctor Way, Claymore, about 11.40pm.
That fire was also extinguished swiftly.
