Have you spotted a couple of hot pink cars cruising around Macarthur in recent weeks?
Well, there's a good reason - their drivers are raising awareness for breast cancer charity, the McGrath Foundation.
The folks at Space Real Estate in Oran Park and Narellan have partnered with the McGrath Foundation to raise funds and spread the word about the charity.
Space principal Sudha Sudharshan has worked hard to get other locals businesses on board and ready to 'Pink Up Oran Park' in October.
"McGrath Foundation approached me and asked if I would help with some fundraising and awareness," he said.
"So we started planning Pink Up Oran Park and getting other businesses to commit to spreading the word about McGrath and all that they do.
"The charity currently employs 135 breast care nurses to look after the 70,000 Australian families with breast cancer - and that's just the number they know about.
"Fundraising will help to employ more nurses."
Mr Sudharshan said Camden Council and Oran Park Town was also supporting the initiative while several other Oran Park businesses had committed as well.
"The big Oran Park Town sign will be painted pink soon too," he said.
"It's like our Hollywood sign, so it will raise even more awareness."
Locals looking to help out can purchase raffle tickets at either of Space Real Estate's offices, Donut King in Oran Park, the Oran Park Town land sales office and soon Camden Council.
Mr Sudharshan said there were some great prizes on offer for raffle ticket buyers.
"We've got 15 prizes lined up," he said.
"Two of the biggest are a return trip to Bali and building works for a deck or pergola worth $3000, which has been donated by a local builder."
Mr Sudharshan said he was also close to signing off on an exciting fundraising concert at Camden Civic Centre.
He encouraged all interested locals to like the 'Pink Up Oran Park in October' Facebook page to receive all the latest updates about the campaign.
