The Australian Matildas have kept their 2019 World Cup dream alive.
Rosemeadow's Alanna Kennedy and her Matildas team mates secured a 3-2 win over Brazil at Stade de la Mosson in Montpellier, France.
The Aussies were down 2-0, but scored three goals in about 20 minutes to record an impressive win.
Brazil hit the scoreboard first when Marta nailed a penalty in the 27th minute.
The side extended its lead 11 minutes later when Cristiane Rozeira found the back of the net.
The Matildas managed to hit back just before half time through Caitlin Foord.
Brazil led 2-1 at the break.
A superb strike by Chloe Logarzo leveled the score in the 58th minute.
Australia took the lead just eight minutes later courtesy of a Monica Hickmann Alves-own goal.
The Aussies then defended the lead for the remainder of the game to seal the 3-2 win.
The Matildas will now start preparing for their final preliminary round clash against Jamaica.
