A record crowd of more than 15,000 people flocked to Mount Annan to celebrate Macarthur's largest food and wine festival on the weekend.
The revamped AnnanROMA event proved to be a rousing success on Saturday and Sunday at the Australian Botanic Garden, Mount Annan.
Thousands of locals and visitors alike enjoyed the festivities under good weather conditions.
Highlights included live entertainment, food trucks, plenty of market stalls and activities for children.
This year marked the first time AnnanROMA has been held over two days, instead of the traditional one.
The 2019 festival was organised by Eat Shop Love founder Deb Brown, who said the new AnnanROMA format was a popular choice.
"We had about 6,500 people on Saturday and more than 8,500 visitors on Sunday," she said.
"We decided to spread out the festival and it just worked - it was a nice experience for visitors.
"We've had plenty of positive feedback, with people saying they loved the variety of food, the festival layout and the activities for kids.
"It was great to see so many people out there on the weekend."
