A group of Camden netballers secured a sweet victory on home turf on Sunday.
Camden and District Netball Association's (CDNA) under-14s side won its division at the annual Camden representative carnival at Narellan Sports Club.
More than 1400 of the state's best young netballers representing 28 NSW associations competed in 15 divisions at the 2019 carnival.
Teams from as far as Orange, Canberra and Manly took part in the event. The carnival also featured plenty of local talent, including netballers from Camden, Campbelltown and Wollondilly.
It was a big day for the Penrith District Netball Association, securing seven title wins on Sunday.
CDNA president Anthony Platter said it was great to host so many associations and people enjoyed the club's "wonderful facilities".
"The day was a success thanks to the hard work of all our volunteers and staff," he said.
CDNA representative co-ordinator Brad Davey said all of Camden's teams performed well on Sunday.
"Our rep teams continue to improve and are progressing well towards the state titles," he said.
"It was a fantastic result for our under-14s to win their division against strong opposition."
The Netball NSW Senior State Titles will be held from June 8 to 10.
Narellan will host the 2019 Netball NSW Junior State Titles from July 6 to 8.
