No trains running on Leppington line

UPDATE (1.32pm):

Trains have now resumed service on the Leppington line.

Services were affected on several Sydney Trains lines due to a reported fatality at Cabramatta this morning (Wednesday, April 17).

Crews have been on site for the past few hours working to restore services.

A Transport Management Centre spokesperson said buses would remain to supplement train services until normal running times resume.

Sydney Trains thanks commuters for their patience.

Macarthur commuters are advised there are no trains running on the Leppington line this morning.

It is believed that services are affected on several Sydney trains lines due to a reported fatality at Cabramatta earlier today (Wednesday, April 17).

A Transport Management Centre spokesperson said a shuttle bus was operating between Leppington and Liverpool stations.

Commuters are advised to listen for announcements at train stations this morning.
