You don't need to travel far to try NSW's best pizza and burgers.
Base and Burger Mount Annan has been named the state's most popular summer restaurant.
The Mount Annan Marketplace restaurant topped the list of thousands of Menulog eateries in the state to win the top prize in the platform’s bi-annual Restaurant Award series.
Base and Burger is loved by locals for its unique take on burgers and pizzas, offering a fusion of flavours throughout their menu.
The pizza menu boasts a unique combination of traditional Italian pizzas alongside those inspired by global cuisines, such as ‘Texas Chilli Beef’ and ‘Taco Pizza’.
The global flavours continue on the other side of the menu, with crowd pleasers like the ‘Quarterback Burger’ and ‘The Falafel Burger’ helping Base and Burger to the state winner position.
Owner Jamila Zaiter said she was delighted with the win.
“We’re honoured to be recognised as the most popular Menulog restaurant in NSW, and thank our loyal customers and Menulog for their continued support in helping us grow," she said.
Menulog’s commercial director, Rory Murphy said the awards recognised the hard work of local restaurants, particularly those who have delivered exceptional experiences for their customers.
“Base and Burger has done an exceptional job of delighting customers with delicious food and exceptional delivery service," he said.
"With burgers seeing exponential growth on Menulog over the past year, to win this national award is a huge achievement for Jamila and the team”
