Two men have suffered serious injuries due to a trail bike crash near Belimbla Park on Saturday.
Emergency services were called following reports a motorbike carrying two people had crashed on Burragorang Road about 3.30pm on January 12.
It is understood the motorcyclist lost control on a corner and hit a guard rail.
The men, aged 29 and 28, were transferred to hospital with serious but not life-threatening injuries.
One man suffered a fractured vertebrae. The other male suffered fractured ribs and a thigh laceration that requires surgery.
Mandatory blood samples were taken from the motorcyclist.
Camden Police Area Command crime manager, Detective Chief Inspector Jayne Doherty said neither men were wearing appropriate safety gear.
“Police remind motorcyclists to wear safety gear to reduce the impacts of any accident that may occur,” she said.
The Crash Investigation Unit continues to look into circumstances surrounding Saturday’s incident.
Burragorang Road was closed for several hours following the crash.
