Have you wandered down Queen Street lately? There are many hidden treasures to be found from a second hand bookshop and American Candy store to a music shop and nail bar. If you’re already familiar with the popular shopping precinct then Queen St is probably home to your favourite barber or restaurant.

Now that Christmas is almost here, there are some great retailers that you should check out dotted throughout the City Centre, Spotlight Plaza, Skygarden Plaza and Queen Street itself.

At the southern end of Queen Street, Ralph’s Pharmacy has a dedicated perfume section with free gift wrapping and offers all the famous brands. Campbelltown Hobbies has all your favourite games and collectibles, while one of Campbelltown’s most popular Chinese restaurants, the Flower Drum, has been trading for over forty years and is a great place for your family to get together and celebrate the holidays.

Making your way up Queen Street you’ll find the City Centre with the optical shop for a new pair of sun glasses for those summer beach days, or for that special selection in your Christmas stocking visit the American Sweet Surprise Candy store to satisfy that sweet tooth.

There are many hidden treasures to be found along Queen Street this Christmas.

You may need a quick rest during your shopping trip so head over to the Skygarden Centre and visit the trendy Bar Centrale, where you can grab a cup of coffee or stay longer for a delicious lunch, or try one of Sonya’s famous burgers made with real Australian beef mince.

In Spotlight Plaza you’ll find your local music shop, Chalker Music with a great range of guitars, keyboards and music lessons, or grab the latest novel from James Patterson or Nora Roberts at Plaza Book Exchange.

Grab a hot chocolate from Gloria Jeans while you wait for the kids to get their hair cut at Pauls Men’s and Boys Hairdressing, check out the latest sewing machines and accessories at Sew Many Stiches or try your skill at Paper Dreams Scrapbooking.

Queen Street has many places to complete your Christmas shopping so on your next visit take a little time to explore and you will be pleasantly surprised.
