A Tahmoor man says he is “gobsmacked” after wining more than $1 million in Monday night’s Lotto draw.
The ticket-holder had a division one winning entry in the Monday and Wednesday 3822 Lotto draw, drawn on December 3.
The Tahmoor man won the division one prize and multiple other divisions, taking his total prize money up to $1,003,679.50.
He was one of two NSW entrants to win in division one.
The Wollondilly resident, who wishes to remain anonymous, purchased his winning-marked system seven entry at Tahmoor Newsagency.
He said he “couldn’t believe his luck” when he heard about the win.
“I was shocked, I was absolutely gobsmacked,” the winner said.
“I’m very, very excited.”
The man plans to use the prize to set his family up for the future and go on a holiday together to celebrate.
“I think this Christmas will be extra special for my family,” he said.
Tahmoor Newsagency manager Jeanette Cook said she was “beside herself with excitement”.
“It’s been a few years since we’ve sold a division one winning entry, we are just so happy,” he said.
“It’s the absolute best feeling to see one of our regular customers win such a deserving prize.”
