Campbelltown 24-hour fast food restaurant robbed

A 24-hour fast food restaurant in Campbelltown was robbed early this morning.

Two men entered the Queen Street store armed with a meat cleaver and a knife about 2.15am on Wednesday, November 7.

They approached the counter and allegedly threatened staff while demanding cash.

The employee complied, and one of the armed men took the money before fleeing in a vehicle believed to be stolen.

Officers from Campbelltown Police Area Command attended the scene and began inquiries.

Both men have been described as being of Pacific Islander/Maori appearance, about 180cm to 185cm tall, and with their faces covered.

One man was wearing a black hooded jumper, pants and shoes, and a navy-blue cap.

The second was wearing a grey t-shirt, boardshorts, black shoes and a blue cap.
