Police have arrested a man who escaped from a minimum-security correctional facility in Goulburn on Friday.
Mark Tazelaar left the facility in Maud Street at 1.30pm prompting police to warn they believed he may head to Narellan, Campbelltown or Rooty Hill.
Police appealed for public assistance to locate the 37-year-old but said members of the public should not approach him.
Tazelaar remained on the run for 36 hours.
He was arrested by officers attached to Blacktown Police Area Command at a home on Bulah Way, Seven Hills, about 1.40am on Sunday October, 7.
He was charged with escape from lawful custody and was scheduled to appear in Parramatta Bail Court yesterday.
