When a child has trouble sleeping, a parent will try anything.
For Cara Benau, that included sleep schools, melatonin drops, changes to diet and exercise, and frequent visits to the doctor – all to try to help her daughter, Nevoh, get a good night’s sleep.
Nothing worked until she used night-lights with essential oils. It was so successful that Cara decided to package different kinds of sleeping solutions in one unit called Glow Dreaming.
She consulted sound specialist Dr Stephane Pigeon who developed a unique frequency that uses a specific rhythm and timing to encourage drowsiness and gets you to fall into a state of sleep called Slow Wave Sleep (often referred to as Deep Sleep).
Then she incorporated a red light, the same technology used by NASA for its astronauts. Red spectrum light helps stimulate the body’s production of melatonin, the hormone responsible for telling us it’s time for sleep. It combats the damage caused by resetting our internal clocks.
The humidifier helps reduce dampness or heat by using ultrasonic waves to create air moisture and combat the drying effects of heating and air-conditioning.
The unit also contains an essential oil blend called Twinkle Star which was specially formulated to help children sleep. The Glow Dreaming gift box features a capsule of this organic therapeutic-grade essential oil.
