Ingleburn accident between car and pedestrians on Friday, October 13

A man and a woman have been injured after being struck by a car at Ingleburn on Friday.

Emergency services were called to the intersection of Harold and Oxford streets, Ingleburn, about 7.30am after two pedestrians were struck by a black Ford Focus sedan.

A woman, aged in her 40s, was treated at the scene by NSW Ambulance paramedics before being taken to Liverpool Hospital, where she remains in a serious condition.

A man, also aged in his 40s, sustained minor injuries.


The driver and sole occupant, a woman also aged in her 40s, was uninjured.

She was taken to Liverpool Hospital to undergo mandatory testing.

Officers from Macquarie Fields Local Area Command have established a crime scene and police from the Crash Investigation Unit will be investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident.
