Campbelltown MP Greg Warren has urged his constituents to show their support for homeless women and donate to a Share the Dignity campaign.
Share the Dignity is a not-for-profit organisation who provide sanitary and hygiene products to Australian women who are homeless or at risk of homelessness.
Products can be donated to Mr Warren’s office – Shop 3, 72 Queen Street, Campbelltown – throughout the month of August.
“I’m encouraging as many donations as possible. Donating can be as simple as buying an extra packet of pads or tampons the next time you're at the supermarket and dropping them off,” the Campbelltown state MP said.
“It’s something that most people probably don’t even stop to think about, but homeless women are often left without these basic and essential products while living on the streets.
“Share the Dignity is a fantastic national charity that also does great work supporting local women in need here in Macarthur.”
