Shop local: Organisers Peta Borg and Brooke Murphy encourage visitors to support local businesses.

The Argyle Affair is back on Saturday, November 26 and Sunday, November 27 with some tasty new stalls.

The annual event is now in it’s third year and organisers Brooke Murphy and Peta Borg wanted to bring something different to the table.

“We will have something for the foodies this year,” Ms Murphy said.

“We will have a lot of food trucks with gourmet food, specialty tea and more.”

The Argyle Affair is a boutique market which allows local business owners to showcase their unique creations.

It will be held at the AH&I Hall in Camden from 9am to 2pm.

“It’s a tightly curated event,” Ms Murphy said.

“We have about 50 stalls this year which is double the amount that we had last year.”

Food vendors will include Burger Frank, gourmet hotdogs, cupcakes, macarons and Fluffy Crunch gourmet fairy floss.

Visitors will also enjoy a range of stalls including jewellery, clothing, florists, photographers and homewares.

Celeste Wrona from Scissors Paper Brush, whose art was featured on The Block, will also showcase her work at the event.

Dog owners can also buy their furry friends a treat from Pawlicious Gourmet Dog Treats.

“People can come with their families to sample local produce, shop local and see what people in our community are making,” Ms Murphy said.

“The Argyle Affair is where a lot of great stuff comes together. People can meet the maker – it’s not just a product on the shelf, there is the charity element, there is a lot of gorgeous things here and people love shopping.”

This year’s event will raise money for the Palliative Care Unit at Camden Hospital.

“We choose a different charity to support each year,” Ms Murphy said.

“We like to support a charity that supports the local community.”

Ms Murphy said people should visit the Argyle Affair to support local business and shop local.

“Come down and meet the people behind these businesses,” she said.

“It’s a unique day out.”
