We hope you’re hungry – Narellan Town Centre’s soon-to-be-open restaurants have some exciting deals in store.
Four of the centre’s new restaurant precinct eateries will open their doors next Thursday, October 20.
Guzman Y Gomez, Max Brenner, Nandos and Sushi On Fire are all set to let their first customers in next week while the Town Centre arranges face-painting and balloon twisting for the kids.
The good times will start at Guzman Y Gomez, which, from noon, will begin its traditional Free Burrito Day.
The store will be giving out free burritos – whether traditionally wrapped or burrito bowls – to all guests at a limit of one per person.
No other items will be available on Free Burrito Day.
The promotion runs until 7pm.
News of the opening special got more than 450 comments on the Town Centre’s Facebook page.
Max Brenner meanwhile will continue with one of its own traditions.
As is customary with every Max Brenner opening, staff will hold a ceremonial breaking a 6 kilogram block of chocolate at 3.30pm, and distribute the pieces to guests.
As the Narellan store is the chain’s 43rd, the first 43 people through the door will take home a Max Brenner goodie bag.
In other Narellan Town Centre news, the old Gateway Building – which used to house Hog’s Breath Cafe – will be demolished next week.
The exact date and time are still to be confirmed, but the demolition will take several days to be complete.
The building has been completely gutted inside to make way for the demolition, which will allow the existing centre to extend further out.
