The Wests Tigers have secured the services of Michael Chee Kam, Jack Littlejohn and Jesse Parahi all on one-year contracts for 2016. Here’s a bit about the recruits . . .
Michael Chee Kam
Michael Chee Kam, 23, has played four NRL games for Manly-Warringah and is a former Australian Schoolboys representative who plays primarily in the back row.
Born in Auckland, New Zealand, Chee Kam was a member of Canberra’s Holden Cup team between 2010 and 2012 before making the move to Sydney.
Jack Littlejohn, 23, has played five NRL games for Manly-Warringah and can cover a range of positions in the back line but is seen as predominantly a five-eighth or halfback.
The Wagga Wagga native played under 20s for the Sydney Roosters, before playing NSW Cup with the Newtown Jets.
Jesse Parahi, 26, has been a mainstay of the Australian Rugby Sevens team since making his debut in 2010.
He captained the Australian squad during various IRB World Series tournaments and won a bronze medal in the 2014 Commonwealth games tournament.
He will join Wests Tigers following a Rio 2016 Olympic Games qualification tournament in New Zealand in November this year.
