LOCAL charity Beautiful Minds is commemorating Mental Health Month by selling waratah blooms. Funds raised will go to much-needed projects at Waratah Adult Mental Health Unit at Campbelltown Hospital. "The waratah is not only beautiful but also has a connection with mental illness as the essence has been used to relieve depression," said Beautiful Minds' president Sandra McDonald, pictured with granddaughter McKenzie Ryan.

Waratah Day is October 4 and the flowers will be sold at the main entrance to Campbelltown Hospital, or you can order 10 or more for free delivery in the local area. Orders must be placed no later than 5pm, Friday, September 27. To order, phone 0408 633 181. Picture: Jonathan Ng
