Campbelltonians are encouraged to put on a pair of gloves and help rid the city of rubbish on Clean Up Australia Day.
This year the target area will be in Airds and along the Georges River corridor.
The clean up will run from 9am until 12pm on Sunday, March 4.
Mayor George Brticevic said the initiative was a worthwhile cause.
“Campbelltown City is fortunate to have an abundance of bushland, parks and reserves locals can enjoy, and equally fortunate to have community-minded residents who turn out for this event,” he said.
“I encourage the community to come along on Clean Up Australia Day, and make a positive difference to our environment, meet new friends and find out more about the council’s Bbshcare groups which operate across the city.”
