Police release CCTV footage of armed robbery in December 2016

Police have released CCTV footage from an armed robbery in St Andrews last December.

About 9.20pm on December 17, 2016, two men entered a service station on Ballantrae Drive, armed with a knife and baseball bat.

Police have been told the men threatened staff, before fleeing towards Saggart Reserve, St Andrews.

Following police inquiries, detectives attached to Macquarie Fields Local Area Command have released images and a video of two males who may be able to assist with their investigation.

The first male is described as being of medium to large build, with short dark hair, and holding a knife.

He was last seen wearing a black and white balaclava across his face, a high visibility yellow long sleeve shirt with black sleeves, black tracksuit paints with two white stripes down both legs, black joggers and light coloured full finger gardening gloves.

The second male is described as being of medium build, and was last seen wearing a black hooded jumper, black tracksuit pants with two white stripes down both legs, black joggers and light full finger gardening gloves.

The two men are believed to frequent the Fairfield area.
