A propeller which separated from a Regional Express flight over Camden has been found, the Australian Transport Safety Bureau has confirmed.
NSW Police located the missing propeller in bushland near Revesby at noon today.
The propeller detached from Flight ZL768 in the trip from Albury to Sydney on Friday and had been missing since.
Experts believed it would have fallen in the Camden area.
The recovery mission for the 100-kilogram propeller is now under way.
The flight was safely landed at Sydney Airport and none of the 16 passengers and three crew members on board were in any way injured.
Investigations are still underway to determine the cause of the mysterious propeller separation.
