There will be two big events at Campbelltown libraries in March.

Local author Amanda Howard will launch her new book Killer Australia: Death and Destruction Down Under at HJ Daley Library on Wednesday, 8 March at 6pm.

And on Monday, March 13 at 6pm, Peter FitzSimons will talk about his new book The Great Aussie Bloke Slim-Down at Greg percivcal Library in Ingleburn.

Mayor George Brticevic encouraged residents to book their place at one of the events.

“Peter FitzSimons is a former Australian rugby player, the chair of the Australian Republican Movement, a well-known journalist and public speaker, in addition to being the author of 27 best-selling books,” he said.

“His talk will not only be entertaining, but full of useful anecdotes and advice on how to lose weight.

“Amanda Howard also has many books to her credit, including fiction, non-fiction and short stories, and the launch of her latest book, Killer Australia: Death and Destruction Down Under, at the HJ Daley Library, is a coup for Campbelltown City.

“As a local author, I’m sure Amanda also has insights for Campbelltown residents interested in pursuing a writing career.”

Light refreshment will be provided though booking are essential. Call 4645 4444 or visit campbelltown.nsw.go.vau/libraries.
