This weekend is your last chance to catch tulips in full bloom at a flower festival in Bowral.
The Tulip Time Festival is on until Sunday, September 25 and it promises to be a sea of colour.
The 56th annual festival will showcase 110,000 tulips in a range of colours including red, pink, purple and yellow.
On Saturday, September 24, visitors can listen to an afternoon of jazz from local trio Laney and Friends while they stroll amongst the flowers from 3pm to 5pm.
On Sunday, popular group Ella’s Holiday will perform for Music in the Gardens from 11.30am to 1.30pm.
Entertainment is included in the entry price.
Wollondilly MP Jai Rowell encouraged locals to go for a drive this weekend and enjoy what Bowral has to offer.
“Go on down to the tulip festival. There is always something to do in Bowral,” he said.
“The festival brings thousands of tourists into the region and there are more train services available on the weekend.”
The Corbett Gardens in Bowral are open from 9am to 4pm daily and are open to 5pm on Saturdays.
The entry fee is $10 for adults, $6 for concession and pensioners and $6 for children aged 13-17 years. Children under 12 can enter for free.
