Academy of Sport training triathletes in south west Sydney

THE South West Sydney Academy of Sport has a program to help local triathletes develop skills to help them gain higher representative selection.

The program forms part of Triathlon Australia's national development pathway.

It provides junior triathletes with access to quality coaching, sports education and development across all three race disciplines.

Liverpool triathletes can apply for a scholarship, and to be eligible, male or female athletes must be aged between 13-18 years and either live, attend school or represent a club or association within the academy's region of Liverpool, Camden, Campbelltown and Wollondilly.

Athletes with strong skills and performance levels in swimming, or middle or long-distance running, cross country or cycling, are encouraged to attend.

Athletes should aspire to higher representation within the sport.

The swim leg trials will be on September 29 at Campbelltown Swimming Centre from 9am and the run leg the next day at Macquarie Fields Swimming Centre from 9am.
