THE Mets have won the Macarthur Baseball League Club Championship for the sixth consecutive year as they enter the summer season high in confidence.
The Catherine Field club will field teams in the Aussie T-Ball for under-8 age players, 9s, 10s, 12s, 14s, 17s, seniors and over 35s competitions.
Mets Baseball Club public relations officer Matt Wagner said the summer season recently started.
"We have 200 players registered and we are the biggest club in the MBL," Wagner said.
He said the Mets won three titles last season.
"We would like to win as many grand finals as we can again this summer."
The Mets also have several players representing in the Sydney Women's League and Men's State League competitions.
"We also have many youngsters playing in the Macarthur Baseball League representative teams," Wagner said.
Club teenage talents Jade Martin and Amy Saliba also gained NSW selection this year.
Wagner said the Mets are organising a third trip to the US for its junior players to attend a baseball camp in Sacramento, in mid-2014.
Wagner also said the Australian Baseball League's Aussie T-Ball recruitment program has proved a winner.
"We picked up 60 new junior players for the Aussie T-Ball," he said.
