MEDIA personality and mother of five, with another one on the way, Antonia Kidman (pictured) will help Campbelltown mothers navigate the finer points of meal times with fussy children at a workshop next month.
Kidman will visit Macarthur Square on Wednesday, October 3, as part of the shopping centre’s Family Week activities. The event is designed to celebrate families and to encourage dialogue and provide parents with the tools and information they need to raise children in today’s world.
As well as hosting the workshop, Kidman will sign copies of her latest book, The Simple Things: Creating an organised home, a happy family and a life worth living.
“I’m thrilled to be a part of Family Week and celebrate families,’’ Kidman said.
‘‘The workshops are a great way to share knowledge and learn from others. I’m looking forward to meeting the Macarthur Square shoppers and hearing their stories.’’
Other workshops that week include The Baby Whisperer with Sheyne Rowley, Taming the Tantrums run by Kate Clancy from Good Beginnings and Safer Celebrations run by Dan Lea from Youth Solutions.
Surf Life Saving Australia will cover water safety with a focus on key surf skills in its workshop.
A photo booth for free family photos will be set up in the centre court on Tuesday, October 2.
