In her campaign launch video Hillary Clinton promised to be a champion for "everyday Americans", but it seems everyday Americans kind of don't know who she is.
The presidential hopeful visited a Chipotle on her first day of campaigning in northwestern Ohio without a single person realising who she was.
Clinton visited the popular Mexican chain to pick up a chicken burrito bowl with guacamole for lunch. However, even as she paid for it with money from her own wallet and carried the bowl back to her table, not one staff member realised they were being visited by the former secretary of state.
Dressed in a pink coat and sunglasses, Clinton was accompanied by long-time aide Huma Abedinon her lunch run.
New York Times journalist Maggie Haberman posted an image of the security footage on Twitter, explaining that the manager of the store was not aware Clinton had visited the store.

Clinton, 67, is not the first presidential hopeful to make a stop at Chipotle.
Mitt Romney was spotted at a Chipotle in Denver during the 2012 campaign, while US President Barack Obama came under fire after he put his hand over the restaurant's "sneeze guard" during a visit last year.

It was a different story when Hillary's husband, former president Bill Clinton, was on the campaign trail. In 1992 the then-new presidential candidate famously took reporters on jogs to McDonald's.
