Tigers pump up home volume

11 Nov, 2009 09:17 AM

WESTS Tigers have increased the number of home games in their heartlands at Campbelltown Sports Stadium and Leichhardt Oval in season 2010.

Tigers fans will see four matches at Campbelltown, four at Leichhardt, three at the Sydney Football Stadium and one against Souths at the Sydney Cricket Ground.

In previous seasons, fans near these grounds have had only three games to see their favourite team.

Both Leichhardt Oval and Campbelltown are undergoing multi-million dollar renovations with the grounds unavailable until midway through the first round.

The opening game at the revamped Campbelltown Stadium is against the Sydney Roosters in round eight.

Other games set down for Campbelltown: Round 1,5 versus Canberra Raiders; round 18, versus Gold Coast Titans; round 23, versus Penrith.

The Leichhardt Oval matches are as follows: Round 12, versus the New Zealand Warriors; round 19 versus North Queensland Cowboys; round 21 versus Cronulla; and round 25, against premiers Melbourne Storm.

The annual Heritage Round clash against traditional rivals Souths is round 10 at the Sydney Cricket Ground.

The Sydney Football Stadium matches are as follows: Round one versus Manly; round three versus Parramatta; and round six versus Canterbury Bulldogs.
