Tigers hopeful of Tuqiri deal

WESTS Tigers are still waiting for a positive answer from Lote Tuqiri if he will sign on the dotted line and return to the NRL after seven years playing rugby union.

The Tigers are reportedly close to gaining the flying fullback or winger.

A Tigers' insider said ``talks are continuing'' with Tuqiri.

In other news, Tigers' playmaker Benji Marshall, skippered the Kiwis, holding Australia to a 20-all draw in the opening game of the Four Nations Tournament in London.

Australia are coached by Wests Tigers' mentor Tim Sheens and the Kangaroos now play England on Sunday at 1.15am Australia daylight eastern time.

Tigers' hooker Robbie Farah is in the 24-man touring squad, but didn't make the team for the opening match.
