WESTS Tigers have re-signed centre Blake Ayshford for a further two years.
Ayshford has played three NRL matches this season.
He scored a try in his first grade debut against Brisbane at Campbelltown Stadium in round 11.
The 21-year-old was promoted to the full-time Tigers squad after some outstanding performances last season for the club in the inaugural Toyota Cup competition.
Ayshford can play as centre, lock and five-eighth.
He received the Tigers Players' Player of the Year award for the Toyota Cup under 20s competition last year.
Tigers recruitment manager Warren McDonnell said Ayshford would be a ``bigger and stronger'' player once he had played a full season.
``Blake hasn't been able to have a full off-season over the past two seasons due to injuries,'' he said.
Ayshford said he believed there would be good times ahead for himself and the club.
He said the new contract capped off an exciting season for him to date.
``I know playing under such an experienced coach in Tim Sheens will only make me a better player,'' he said.
