09 Sep, 2009 04:13 PM

THOMAS Reddall High School's under-13 and under-15 teams both reached the Wests League Cup schoolboy rugby league final following their semi-final wins last Thursday.

The semi-final took place at Oswald Reserve, Rosemeadow, with the under-13 team beating Miller 34-20.

Man of the match was five-eighth Ronald Lagaaia, who displayed good defence and leadership around the park.

Fullback Daniel Martinez and halfback Ben Mauigoa also put in good performances.

The under-15 team beat Casula 13-12 in a nail-biter.

With less than a minute left on the clock and the score tied at 12-all, Thomas Reddall's captain, Shannon Crook-Brennan, scored a field goal to send his team to the grand final.

Man of the match was Hayden Burgess, closely followed by second rower Mat Hinds and captain and halfback Shannon Crook-Brennan.
