KIM Hollingsworth has been a stripper, a prostitute and an undercover police agent who exposed corruption.
Now parts of her life will be played out on the small screen in Underbelly 3: The Golden Mile, the new series of Channel Nine's popular show inspired by the Wood Royal Commission that cleaned out corruption in the NSW Police in 1995.
Miss Hollingsworth, who now lives in Wilton after moving recently from Werombi, was recruited by the royal commission to gather evidence on corrupt cops.
She started training as a police officer after a stint as a stripper and prostitute a fact she did not shy away from when talking to writers from production company Screentime.
``They're excellent writers,'' Miss Hollingsworth told the Advertiser.
``They're so in tune with me the prostitute, the stripper, the girl who buys her hay from Camden it's like trying to grasp all these different personalities in one person.
``But they have really honed in on it and I'm really confident they will do a brilliant job.''
Over the years, Ms Hollingsworth had many offers from production companies to tell her story, before choosing Screentime.
``At first I felt strange about it and I felt worried,'' she said.
``My greatest fear was that it's not going to be like me and everyone's going to think it was me.
``But after I got to know these writers I trust them to capture who I am.''
Screentime is yet to cast any of the roles in Underbelly 3 and Ms Hollingsworth doesn't have a preferred option on who should play her character in the series.
``The poor girl is going to have to take her clothes off,'' she laughed.
``One minute you've got to be a prostitute, the next you've got to be a policewoman and you've got to play those roles convincingly.''
Filming of Underbelly 3 is expected to finish by the end of the year.
