THOMAS Reddall High School at Ambarvale has extended the reach of its fourth annual youth-leadership conference this year.
Students will be joined by other local primary and high schools and there will be talks by prominent local business and community members tomorrow at the Campbelltown City Masonic Centre.
Year 10 student Robert Barrie, of the school's student representative council, said youngsters are more likely to learn better if they ``feel empowered''. ``The leadership conference is designed to inspire students to really show them what they can achieve,'' he said. ``The first conference was a lot smaller, it was more a lesson than a conference.
``In the years after, more kids have been involved and we've now got more high-profile speakers.''
Thomas Reddall High's annual school leadership conference will be held tomorrow, November19, at the Campbelltown Masonic Centre, 101Wickfield Circuit, Ambarvale, from 8.30am to 2.15pm.
